The PEX2S952 PCI Express serial card converts a PCI Express slot into RS-232 serial connections (DB9).
The serial adapter card is based on a native single-chip design that enables full PCI Express (PCIe) functionality, offering optimal reliability and speed while reducing CPU load by up to 48% compared to conventional serial cards (bridge chip).
The RS232 serial adapter card is compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows and Linux (Kernel 2.6.11 to 4.11.x).
The adapter card includes an optional standard/low-profile bracket that allows installation in virtually any computer case and makes it easy to add serial ports to the PCI Express slot, regardless of case size.
