The MKC rechargeable lead-acid battery model 491460283 is a 12V, 33Ah unit designed for cyclic applications, featuring VRLA AGM technology with gas recombination that ensures over 99% efficiency in managing the gases produced during operation. This sealed technology allows the battery to be used both in standby and cyclic modes, without the need for maintenance or fluid top-up, making it ideal for a wide range of professional and industrial uses.
The product is equipped with T6 type terminals and can be installed inside electronic devices or enclosed environments, offering high performance in applications such as emergency lighting, signalling systems, security and alarm, industrial process continuity, UPS, light traction, and energy storage systems for renewables. It is recommended to use a constant voltage charging system compliant with the specified requirements to avoid irreversible damage; in particular, the battery must not be left discharged after use and the discharge voltage must not drop below 10.4 V.
Handling the product requires particular care due to the presence of acid inside the battery, and is therefore reserved exclusively for qualified operators in industrial and professional environments, in accordance with EU Regulation 2023/1542.
