The PEXESAT32 PCI Express eSATA Controller Card with 2 ports at 6 Gbps offers simple connectivity between a host computer and eSATA 3.0 devices: a convenient solution for connecting high-speed storage devices such as high RPM hard drives and SSDs (Solid State Drives) for easier data backup and storage.
With full support for SATA 3.0 hard drives and data transfer speeds up to 6 Gbps, the adapter card features a native PCI Express single chipset that optimises compatibility, reliability, and performance for external SATA 600 MB/s storage needs.
The controller card is backwards compatible with SATA 2.0 devices and provides the versatility required for using older storage devices. It includes support for RAID 0 and 1 modes as well as a port multiplier function with command-based or FIS switching for connecting multiple external hard drives to a host PC via a single external SATA connection.
A dual-profile solution, the eSATA Controller card includes a low-profile/half-height bracket for installation in slimline or small form factor computer cases.
EXPAND CAPABILITIES: Add 2 eSATA SATA Rev 3.0 ports with transfer speeds up to 6.0Gbps; backwards compatible with SATA I/II at 1.5/3.0Gbps.
VERSATILE USE: This 2-port PCIe eSATA card features a dual-profile design to fit standard and low-profile systems. Supports JBOD, RAID 0, and 1 modes.
WIDE COMPATIBILITY: Supports Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems; supports Port Multiplier switching based on FIS and commands.
HIGH DATA TRANSFER SPEED: With support for data transfer speeds up to 6Gbps, this expansion card is ideal for external drives, file backup, video editing, and data recovery.
COMPATIBILITY: Supports Windows (XP+), Windows Server (2003+), macOS (10.6 to 10.14), Linux versions 3.5.x to 4.11.x (LTS versions only); connected drives cannot be used as system/primary drives on Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019.
Supports NCQ (Native Command Queuing) and ATA/ATAPI commands.
